We’re always happy to welcome new members, come along for a taster session to see if you like it!
Plas Newydd, Ynys Mon 25th June 2023
Our final sing before the summer break. Thanks to National Trust staff for welcoming us. We were definitely dodging the showers (and downpours!) but undeterred by this umbrellas were up for the spots of rain at 1pm and then very conveniently it brightened up for 2.30. Happy times. Thanks everyone ๐
Summer ’23 Sing at Powis Castle
Amazing and delightful to be back at Powis Castle, thank you so much to the National Trust staff for making us feel so welcome. So lovely to sing on the Castle steps in the courtyard before heading down terrace by terrace, singing on each. A definite harmonic and acoustic highlight was singing in the orangery, so resonant and wonderful.
An altogether fabulous outing ๐
Amnesty International Fundraiser 2023
A massive thank you to everyone who came and supported us on the 15th April. So exciting to get together and give a formal performance with Bangor Community Choir.
A fabulous set of songs from our repertoire from peace and unity to some old favourite feel good songs. Some much delicious cake in the interval ๐ and ยฃ1,200.00 raised for our local Amnesty group. We were overwhelmed by everyone’s generosity both in terms of time, and cake and donations!! Thank you all.
Here’s the view from the choir ๐

Croeso -Welcome to 2022!!
Well it’s certainly been a journey through the pandemic. We’ve been on Zoom, and singing outside too.
The highlight of 2021 for me was singing on Radio 4’s PM programme in the week before Christmas. It was so lovely to bring Coastal Voices and Bangor Community Choir together again after almost 2 years. We were ‘on air’ for a couple of minutes but we certainly made the best of our time together singing some old favourites while we waited ๐
And now we’re back meeting indoors face to face with various Covid mitigations, but it’s just a delight to see everyone again and get back to some live singing of those heart warming harmonies.
Do get in touch with Sara if you’re interested in joining us and she’ll talk you through what’s happening and how it’s all working at the moment.
Hopefully we’ll continue to move to more of an almost back to normal feel as this year progresses.
Christmas 2019
A lovely trio of Christmas sings: Penrhyn Castle, Amnesty International and Moel y Ci Christmas Fair!
Sing for Water Concert & Ceilidh Rhos On Sea 🌊!
A fantastc afternoon and evening of singing 🎶 and dancing. The afternoon concert saw performances from Conwy Valley Voices, Bangor Street Singers, Threnody and Bangor Community Choir joining Coastal Voices. The finale saw 90 singers join together for a roof raising three songs. In the evening local ceilidh band Aderyn Prin got things swinging! A delightful way to celebrate 15 years of singing together included the choir presenting Sara with a specially commissioned glass wave by Sarah Kearsley-Wooller encapsulating all the elements of Coastal Voices!! Thanks to everyone who supported the event, helped on the day… 😀
15th Anniversary Celebrations begin!
Conwy Food Festival
A fantastic, fun day in Conwy, singing with Bangor Community Choir. 50 plus singers busking for WaterAid. It was chilly but the singing invigorated us!! Thanks to all the singers and to everyone that supported us! The light show in the Church afterwards was quite spectacular too!
