A fantastic, fun day in Conwy, singing with Bangor Community Choir. 50 plus singers busking for WaterAid. It was chilly but the singing invigorated us!! Thanks to all the singers and to everyone that supported us! The light show in the Church afterwards was quite spectacular too!

A splendid day on Anglesey with members of Coastal Voices and Bangor Community Choir. We visited four of the lovely small churches and spent time exploring and of course singing in each. So special to fill these ancient buildings with song!

Small Churches Trip Ynys Mon

Well what an absolutely super day visiting just four of the many small churches on Anglesey. The day started at St Maelog’s at Llanfaelog, beautifully and thoughtfully restored using local architect and crafts’ people. Here we learnt a couple of new songs to sing as we journeyed. So exciting to visit St Cwyfan’s nr Aberffraw, getting the tides right is vital so the causeway is dry! It’s usually locked, so delightful to see it open and to sing inside! After a delicious lunch at the Crown in Aberffraw we headed on to St Ceinwen’s in Dwyran, another treat, before our final church of the day, St Tysilio’s at Menai Bridge. Just perfect!! Thanks to everyone who came along and special thanks to Annie, Vicky and Jeremy for their help with organising and planning the trip. Can’t wait for the next one!!

A Fantastic weekend with the B Naturals!

It was a really fun weekend, huge thank you to the B Nats for a fabulous concert at the Caban in Bryn Refail, followed by a workshop the following day: Beatles and Bowie, amazing arrangements. A return visit was demanded so we hope to host them again in 2018!

Glorious Sing at Bodnant Gardens on Sunday 5th June

It was a breathtakingly hot and beautiful day. Thanks to the 60+ singers from Coastal Voices, Bangor Community Choir and Conwy Valley Voices who braved the heat and record visitor numbers! Not only did the scents of all the flowers hang in the air, but the songs too wafted across the gardens. It was lovely to see people’s faces as they came across us singing on the terraces. The Laburnum Arch was out in all its glory too.

Thanks to John Warren for this amazing photo of us all singing by the Pin Mill. All choirs Bodnant 5th June 16_n
